Under Tile Liner 25 yr warranty

Option 3: Remove and Redo - Standard 25 Year Waterproofing Warranty

Why Settle for Less When You Can Have Peace of Mind for Decades?

You’ve had a leaking shower. You’ve looked at the standard repair option with its 6-year warranty—but let’s face it, 6 years comes around far too quickly. For only a little extra cost, you can secure a 25-year warranty and fix the problem for good.

The secret is Tank’d L.L.L technology. This system uses a continuous liner, much like a pool or pond liner, with no seams for water ingress. It’s loose-laid, so movement from the substrate below won’t affect the membrane. Made from a proprietary plastic with an impregnated scrim, it’s resistant to damage and chemicals—built to withstand real-world conditions.

Here’s how it works: the Tank’d L.L.L liner is laid first. Then, the screed is installed on top to create the correct falls. After that, two coats of Tank’d L.A.P membrane are applied, followed by tiles, grout, and caulk. The result? A multi-layered, robust waterproofing system that’s designed to last.

It’s only when you truly understand the issues with conventional waterproofing that you can overcome them. With Tank’d L.L.L, you’re not just repairing—you’re investing in a long-term solution you may never have to think about again.

This process usually only requires the floor and 1 row of tiles to be removed and re laid. However, in this project the owner decided to have the walls done as well so the whole recess received the 25yr treatement.
